Click HERE to see the official notice from the Christina School Board. CRI encourages individuals interested in serving to improve our schools to apply for this position. The final decision will be made by the Christina School Board. Once appointed, the individual would have to run for election in May 2014. The Christina School District is struggling with low test scores, inadequate 3rd grade literacy, and a declining enrollment in their schools. There are close to 18,000 children educated in this district. CRI could make an impact for those students with right school board makeup. This would be a chance to begin the process. If you or someone you know may be interested in learning more about this opportunity to improve our schools or have questions about the duties and responsibilities of school board members, please contact Yvonne Johnson, Director of CRIs School Board Project, at y.johnson@caesarrodney.org. Thank you.
