CRI Makes it EASY for Delaware Parents to Choose Which School is Best for their

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NEWARK, D.E. – Dr. Tanya Hettler, Ph.D., Director of the Center for Education Excellence has produced an easy-to-read report that Delaware parents can now access and use to compare how their child's school performs on statewide tests versus other schools (public & charters).

The easy-to-read report is a comprehensive compilation of test scores from the Smarter Balanced Assessment and SAT for all public and charter schools for 2019 (pre-COVID-19) and 2022.

In Delaware, parents have the option to choose a different public school for their child if they are unhappy with the school they are assigned to attend based on their address. However, the process can be quite intimidating, especially for busy parents.

If you’ve visited the Delaware Department of Education's (DDOE) website, you’ll find that you cannot easily compare schools and districts without spending considerable time clicking back and forth between one school and another.

Being a busy parent myself, I found it to be a frustrating process. Which is why I wanted to share the information I compiled and calculated with other parents.”
