John Nichols is an Energy Policy Fellow at the Caesar Rodney Institute. He graduated with honors from the University of Delaware with a degree in Education and spent 35 years in the financial services industry, where he held numerous professional licenses and management positions.

Nichols now focuses on energy policy research, with an emphasis on electricity markets, grid reliability, and the economic impacts of energy policy on consumers. His work seeks to improve public understanding of how the PJM power grid operates and how energy policy decisions affect affordability and reliability for Delaware families and businesses.
