George Nagle


Senior Economic Fellow

BS, Business Administration and Marketing (Rutgers University), MS, Economics (Rutgers University) is an economist for Vermont's public advocate focused on efficient provision of public utility services. George served as secretary and economist to the New Jersey Council of Economic Advisors who reported to the Governor and legislature on policies impacting New Jersey's economic, fiscal and business climate. He also served as director of the New Jersey office of Economic Research and Planning, devoted to business retention and attraction. George was also a research economist in the New Jersey Office of Economic Policy in the Governor's office. He was a member of the New Jersey Governor's Science and Technology Commission and the New Jersey State Planning Commission. George was an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and served in Vietnam.
