Advisory Council Member


Gregory F. Lavelle served in the Delaware General Assembly from 2000 to 2018, representing New Castle County in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. During his legislative tenure, he held leadership roles including House Minority Leader and Senate Minority Whip, and served on committees addressing fiscal policy, education, transportation, and economic development.


Outside of public service, Greg has spent his professional career with Puglisi & Associates in Newark, Delaware, where he serves as a Managing Director. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors—and as Treasurer—for the Delaware Council on Economic Education and the Delaware Symphony Orchestra, and remains active in civic and community organizations.


Greg holds a Master of Governmental Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Fels Center of Government and a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the University of Delaware. He and his wife, Ruth, have two children.
